When Muriel and Harry Dooher bought a small bakery in Madoc, Ontario and opened the doors in 1949, their dream was to bring the best in home baked, nutritious goods to their community.
With a small wood fired oven, wholesome ingredients, long hours and a lot of determination, Muriel and Harry made their dream come true.
Today, that same commitment to quality and home baked goodness remains true. With Chris and Peter Dooher at the helm, Doohers is known as one of the finest home bakeries in Southern Ontario! Now located in Campbellford, Dooher’s is a pillar in the community supporting local charities and fund raisers while still bringing you the best tasting, home made baked goods around!

Nutritious and healthy, Dooher's Bakery offers an array of breads and rolls. The annual January Bread Sale is a local favourite, and you'll find over 20 varieties of muffins fresh baked each morning.
